Kishore Sagar Lake

Kishore Sagar Lake is an artificial tank of water constructed by the Prince of Bundi. With a serene environment and picturesque surroundings, it is an ideal spot of one to unwind from the daily life stresses. Jag Mandir, a beautiful red sandstone palace also stands at the centre of the lake in a small island. Jag Mandir is the centre of attraction at the pristine Kishore Sagar Lake. The palace was built by the queens of Kota back in 1740. The architectural perfection and artistic sculptures of Jag Mandir is simply amazing. The famous Keshar Bagh of Kota is in the vicinity of Kishore Sagar, where a lot of families come to enjoy their weekends. You can take a boat ride at Kishore Sagar Lake to enjoy the glowing marbles of the palace shining in sunlight during morning hours and the illuminated palace getting reflected in the pristine water of the lake during night. Another major attraction to travellers here is a tranquil garden around the palace.

Just in the middle of this lake rests the Jagmandir which is a beautiful architecture made of red sandstone. One can witness the surreal view of the reflection of the palace falling on the surface of the lake.     

Kishore Sagar is an artificial picturesque lake dating back to 1346 constructed by the Bundi Prince Dehra Deh. It located by the side of attractive Brij Vilas palace museum.

A palace named as Jagmadir is located at the heart of the museum. The enchanting palace is a red sand stone monument of the grandeur days of Kota. The reflections of the exquisite palace walls and domes in the azure water of the Kishore Sagar Lake are breathtaking. A treat for photo fanatics and nature lovers.
